Removal is quoted once we have seen the floor. The price depends on the size of the area, what the old flooring is and how it is fixed down. Carpet and underlay come up quickly; glued-down floors and old adhesive take longer, and the subfloor may need some work afterwards before a new floor can go down.

What the Work Covers
Before a new floor goes down, the old one has to come up, along with the grippers, staples, nails and old underlay. We do all of that and take the old flooring away, so you are not left with a pile of waste to deal with. Once it is up we can see the subfloor properly, which means fewer surprises later on and a better base for your new floor.
