Engineered Wood Flooring Installation in Swindon

Quotes

What You'll Pay and How We Quote

Every engineered floor is quoted individually, because no two rooms are the same. The price depends on the size of the room, the boards you choose, how they need to be fixed and what state the subfloor is in. A sound, level subfloor needs far less preparation than one that is uneven, damp or patched.

We come out to you, measure up, look at what is underneath and give you a free quote before anything is ordered or started. There is no call-out fee for the visit.

Call us on 01793 569330 or use the form at the top of the page to arrange a visit.

What the Work Covers

Engineered boards have a real wood top layer bonded to a stable core, so they look like solid wood but move less as the temperature and humidity change. That makes them a good fit for most rooms in a modern house, including open-plan spaces and rooms with a concrete floor. Depending on the board and the subfloor, they can be floated on an underlay, glued down or fixed to timber, and we tell you which suits your room before we start.

  • Measuring up and checking the subfloor
  • Levelling and preparing the subfloor where needed
  • Underlay or adhesive to suit the board
  • Neat cuts around doorways, pipes and hearths
  • Expansion gaps hidden behind beading or skirting
  • Door bars and thresholds finished cleanly
